  1. What personal data we collect

Personal data about employees and users stored in an Intect account is used solely to fulfil our agreement with the company that uses Intect and with its users.

We collect the company’s master data such as name, address, company registration number, email, mobile number and other necessary contact information, as well as bank details and any system integrations.

We only collect the personal data that you provide to us when setting up and subsequently updating the company’s Intect account.

We collect the personal data and any images (users may change their own avatar to a personal photo) that the company provides about its employees, administrators and other users without an employment relationship with the company, who are created by the company.

We do this solely to enable the company to make the best use of Intect’s services.

We do not collect personal data about employees unless the company and/or specific users have given their explicit consent. This does not apply to personal tax information in connection with reporting to eIndkomst at the Danish Tax Agency (SKAT) when the company runs payroll.

We collect information via our cookies. Read more in our cookie policy, which you can find here.

Cookies are used to give users a better experience of the Intect application after login. The information is also collected to pursue our legitimate interest in tailoring the content of our website to the individual user.

Participation in user surveys is always voluntary, and the information collected, including gender, age, interests, opinions and knowledge of various topics, is not disclosed to third parties.

We use the surveys to improve our services, and also to be able to offer companies and their employees other services.

The legal basis for collecting personal data through our surveys is always the participant’s consent.

We use subcontractors to deliver Intect’s services. You can always find an up-to-date list in our Trust Center.

  1. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

If you withdraw your consent, we delete the information we have collected as a result of your participation in our surveys.

If you are not yet a customer, we collect information about you/your company for use in our marketing towards you.

We do this to pursue our legitimate interest in marketing ourselves to you.

We only use your email etc. for marketing if we have received your explicit prior consent.

3.1. Access to personal data etc.

If a user wants access to the information registered at user level with Intect, the user must contact the company’s administrator. Company administrators can contact us at support@intect.io.

If incorrect information has been registered about a user or employee and the user or administrator cannot correct it themselves, or if you have other objections to our processing of personal data, please contact us at support@intect.io.

You can get access to the information registered about specific persons, and you are entitled to object to our processing of your personal data.

If it turns out that personal data about you is incorrect or misleading, you have the right to have it corrected.

You can object at any time to information about you being processed. Simply write to us at support@intect.io.

You can also withdraw your consent at any time to the processing we carry out based on your consent.

You can lodge a complaint about our processing of your personal data if we do not uphold your objections.

Complaints must be sent to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). Read more at www.Datatilsynet.dk

3.2. Deletion or disclosure of personal data

Personal data is deleted or anonymised on an ongoing basis as the purpose for which it was collected is completed.

We store personal data for as long as we have an active customer relationship and for up to 5 years after a customer relationship becomes inactive. The company’s administrator or management can request deletion before this period expires.

When the customer relationship has ended, we store personal data for as long as we are legally obliged to, including under accounting legislation.

As long as the company has not been deactivated, employees can edit their own data and manage which contact details they want to make available in Intect.

3.3. Our role as data processor

In relation to you and your company, we are the data processor for the personal data that you process, including store, in Intect. You can find our data processing agreement here.

3.4. Changes to our privacy policy

In the event of significant changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you through a visible notice on our websites.
