Mansoft: “Intect works so well that we rarely need support”

Mansoft is a Danish IT company that has provided consultancy services, project management and other IT assistance across Denmark for many years. With 100 experienced permanent employees and around 50 freelancers spread across its offices in Holte and Aarhus, Mansoft runs a wide range of IT projects for its many customers.

For Mansoft, working with customers is about more than just finding solutions. It is about building close, secure relationships with the customer and creating genuine trust. With a strong focus on regular visits and status meetings at the customer’s premises – and by letting its consultants become part of the customer’s day-to-day life at their office – Mansoft has built long, constructive partnerships. In some partnerships, the trust goes all the way back to the turn of the millennium.

A payroll system that supports easy self-onboarding

After a long period of managing payroll in its own built-in payroll system, Mansoft – in the wake of the new Holiday Act – needed to move to a purpose-built payroll system that could handle the requirements of the new legislation. User-friendliness and the integration setup became the decisive factors in Mansoft’s decision.

“We quickly realised that our own built-in payroll system could not handle the requirements of the new Holiday Act, so we went looking for a system partner that could support our needs. Intect’s user-friendly setup was decisive in our choice.

It was easy to transfer balances and employees, and the option to assign departments to our employees means that we can see the salaries for the different employee groups in our bookkeeping system – which creates great value for us. Shortly after the decision to partner with Intect had been made, the onboarding got under way, and from the beginning of January 2024, Mansoft started running payroll in Intect.

“I handled the onboarding to Intect myself. I did that mainly because it was incredibly easy to figure out the setup and the workflow in the system. I am very pleased with how quick and easy it was.

A payroll setup that just works

Since Mansoft’s first payroll run in Intect, they have been very satisfied with the system’s functionality – and have needed only minimal support.

“Intect works flawlessly. At Mansoft, we run payroll variables every month, which we can easily handle, piece rates work well, and the reports are really good for making our holiday provisions every month, so everything is easy to keep track of – also by department. The import and export function also works very well when we upload reports on mileage and expenses from zExpense using Intect’s template.

The system just works. And that means I very rarely need support – and the few times I have needed help with minor issues, I have received an answer in no time, and the problem has been solved quickly.
